Coldplay had a few announcements for us today. First, a free download of the first single, "Violet Hill," will be available starting tomorrow, over on their website, for one week, a full week before the tune is officially available as a digital download. Then on 5/7, NME Magazine will have a free limited edition 7-inch of "Violet Hill," with an exclusive b-side of "A Spell A Rebel Yell." Next, the band will be playing two free gigs in June.
