I helped out my friends, The Great Society Mind Destroyers, by playing drums for them live the other night, August 17th at the Elbo Room, here in Chicago. If you care to have a listen, the show is available for download via myspace. Now I'm by no means a good drummer and this was my first show ever playing the drums, so please keep that in mind while listening. Oh and just to throw it out there, one of the guitarists broke basically all of his strings on the third song and didn't have a spare, so we had to cut out a song and do a little improvising on the rest of the set.
