Cold War Kids at The Vic (01.30.10)

Cold War Kids were at the top of their game tonight, playing a sold out show, here in Chicago, at The Vic. This being the fifth and final performance of a special five date tour, before they begin work on a new record. Covering a variety of tunes off the two full lengths and the brand new EP, Behave Yourself, out now via Downtown, the band seemed very comfortable in their skin. They also claimed Chicago to be their secret weapon and a special place. Also, mixing things up this time around, the band had added some visual stimuli (i.e. artistic films playing on four screens) and provided a link to a free bootleg of the show. Definitely a nice treat.
