Broken Social Scene at A Parking Lot (09.28.11)

Welp, I definitely didn't wake up this morning and think that I'd be seeing Broken Social Scene play a parking lot in Chicago. The band hinted at yesterday and officially announced this "secret" Heineken sponsored show earlier this afternoon. I just had to attend knowing that this would be an #occasionallyperfect chance to catch the band before their next (apparent) hiatus. Though the (roughly) 40 minute set seemed brief, I suppose I shouldn't complain since it was indeed a free show and the rainy weather decided to subside. So yeah, thank you Broken Social Scene for the unexpected lovely evening.
